10th Day

This is the other T stepping in for the usual T. (Call it resting on the Sabbath....)

It's late....we're tired...that pink color on our cheeks must be frostbite, because I KNOW we didn't get too much sun!

We went to the DC Temple Visitors' center to see the lights, and tried to see a musical performance. However, due to the largest crowds seen since the mall on Saturday (including half of our ward!!), we didn't get in. Just seeing the beautiful lights on the temple grounds was worth the trip...I think.

Plus, despite the noise of the crowds, the hour and a half drive each way, and M's non-stop chatter during the drive, it was nice to spend a minute re-focusing on the real reason for the season.
